Malee Thao's mission is to offer extraordinary fried chicken sandwiches in Milwaukee with an emphasis on umami Asian flavors. Much of her inspiration came from familiar ingredients she grew up with and her desire to weave these cultural flavors into something scrumptious for the community to try. Her Korean Fried Chicken sandwiches which first debuted at her old boba tea shop, s'BLENDID Boba Tea, quickly became popular with her guests. Ultimately, it became a mainstay reason for her frequent flyers to return and a recipe that everyone grew to know and love. Now, at her new food trailer business SANDU, she aims to rekindle these ambitions by serving not only her Korean fried chicken sandwiches, but also an expanded menu to include Japanese chicken sandos which are all freshly crafted with the same love and care!
